Warranty Details / Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Le Cornu warrants to rectify, repair or replace any furniture defects in materials or workmanship of the frame. You will be asked to provide proof of your purchase in order to validate your warranty. This warranty does not cover:

  • Rips, wearing, pilling, creasing or fading of fabric or leather;
  • Surface scratches, dents, chips, marks or accidental breakages;
  • Glass breakage;
  • Damage caused by wear and tear, misuse or improper cleaning;
  • Softening of foam resulting from normal use;
  • Damage incurred during handling and transportation of the product by the customer or their contractor;
  • Discolouration of leather or fabric coverings resulting from exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat or similar conditions;
  • Furniture used for commercial, rental trade, institutional or other non-residential use.

Our obligations only extend to those item(s) which have been cared for according to the care instructions and which have been used only in a manner for their intended purpose. The Le Cornu warranty is in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty is non-transferrable and only applies to those named on the receipt.

You should contact Customer Service on the telephone numbers, email or postal address set out below to initiate a warranty claim.

Returns for any other reason cannot be made without prior notice and approval of a store representative and must be accompanied with receipt or proof of purchase. All costs incurred for this type of return are at customer’s expense. A store credit to be used against future purchases will be provided for returns.

Lounges and mattresses that require warranty repairs must be clean and fit for handling by the service staff. Customers must have the item professionally cleaned if soiled or unfit for handling before returning to store.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any loss or damage. You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms of Use: By using this card you agree to be bound by these terms of use. Treat this card like cash. Damaged, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. This card is only redeemable for merchandise and cannot be partially redeemed or re-credited. Not valid at Le Cornu café. Not redeemable for cash. Where the cost of the purchase exceeds available card balance, the card holder must make up the difference with an alternate payment method. This card expires 12 months from the date of issue. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited on expiry. Le Cornu reserves the right to change any terms in these Terms of Use at any time. Changes to Terms of Use will be available in store. 

Returns Policy

CHANGE OF MIND

Le Cornu wants you to love your new furniture. We understand that choosing the right furniture is not eas. Sometimes items will be too big, too small or simply aren't right. At Le Cornu you van shop with confidence knowing our 7 day change of mind policy allows you to exchange your item or return it for a store credit (store cresit valid for 6 months) provided;

  1. You have clear proof of purchase, such as a reciept.
  2. The product and its packaging are in its original condition, including any manuals, care labels, accessories an the product has not been modified in any way.
  3. The product is not an excluded change of mind product, this includes;
    • All Mattresses & Manchester, Please choose carefully when selecting mattresses, sheets, quilts, underblankets and pillows, as there is no exchange on these items due to health regulations, unless the product is faulty.
    • Custom made orders,for example lounges ordered in specific colours, designs and configurations.
    • Items purchased "AS-IS" including rugs
    • Rugs not returned within 24 hours - Providing the criteria in points 1, 2 and 4 are met customers can buy a rug and return it within 24 hours if not suitable.
    • Clearance rugs - Rugs sold as "clearance/discontinued"
    • Cut runners
  4. The customer covers and freight, handling and delivery charges, including;
    • Pick up and return of the item to Le Cornu
    • Delivery of the re-selection
    • Freight, handling and delivery charges can vary from product to product, suburb to suburb therefore prices are quoted on application.

Repairs, Replacements & Refunds

FURNITURE WARRANTY

Le Cornu will repair or replace(at its choice) any Le Cornu furniture product that has a defect in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from purchase. This warranty does not cover: Rips, wearing, pilling, creasing or fading of fabric or leather; Surface scratches, dents, chips, marks or accidental breakages; Glass breakage; Damage as a result of incorrect assembly of self assembly products; Damage caused by wear and tea, misuse or improper cleaning; Softening of foam resulting from normal use; Damage incurred during handling and transportation of the product by the customer or their contractor; Discolouration of leather or fabric coverings resulting from exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat or similar conditions; Furniture used for commercial, rental trade, institutional or other non-residential use. Our obligations only extend to those item(s) which have been cared for according to the care instructions and which have been used only for their intended purpose. The warranty is non-transferrable and only applies to those names on the receipt.

Any transport costs are the customer's responsibility. However, Le Cornu will cover the cost of transportation for any valid warranty claim during the first year if the product is located within 50km of a Le Cornu store. Lounges and mattresses that require warranty repairs must be clean. Le Cornu may require he customer to have the product professionally cleaned if it is soiled or unfit for handling before returning to store.

The benefits given by this warranty are additional to other rights and remedies that you may have under laws applying to your purchase.
